"HOW DO I KNOW IT WILL REALLY SAVE ME THAT MUCH?"
It's simple math. An idling truck burns ~1 gallon/hour. The EcoFleet HP2000 burns ~0.15 gallons/hour. If you idle 8 hours a night, that's 7.2 gallons saved daily. At $4.00/gallon, that's $28.80/day or ~$864/month. The unit pays its own monthly payment plus puts ~$500+ back in your pocket.
"WILL IT WORK WITH MY TRUCK?"
If you have 23 inches of clear frame rail space, yes. The HP2000 is the most compact diesel APU on the market. It fits most Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Volvo, and International trucks. We also offer custom mounting brackets for difficult setups, such as car haulers, hotshots, and custom rigs.
"WHAT IF IT BREAKS DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE?"
This is our biggest advantage. Unlike competitors that require proprietary dealership computers to fix, the HP2000 uses a Perkins engine and standard automotive parts. You can buy the belts, alternator, and filters at any NAPA or AutoZone. Any mechanic can fix it. No dealership hostage situations.
"WILL IT WORK IN EXTREME TEMPERATURES?"
Absolutely. The HP2000 pumps out 20,000 BTU of cooling and and 7000 BTUs of heat from optional heater. It's tested in the dead of winter and the heat of Arizona summers. Because it's a true diesel APU (not battery-powered), it won't die on you after 4 hours of heavy AC usage.
“WHY NOT CHOOSE BIG CORPORATIONS?”
Big-name APUs do the job, but they usually come with extra weight, higher costs, and expensive dealership service. EcoFleet focuses on what actually matters on the road: lower weight, real savings, and a system built to be practical and easy to maintain.

HOW LOUD IS THE UNIT INSIDE THE CAB?

The HP2000 is rated at 65 dBA. For additional context, typical restaurant or office conversation is around 60 dB, placing 65 dBA within the general conversation-level range. Actual in-cab sound levels can vary depending on truck insulation, mounting, ambient conditions, and whether you’re comparing it to engine idle.

DOES IT CHARGE MY TRUCK BATTERIES?

Yes. The HP2000 includes a 60 Amp alternator and a Battery Monitor mode that automatically starts and charges when battery voltage drops below your set point. The installation wiring serves as both the APU power supply and truck charge supply. Battery charging is a standard feature of the HP2000.

HOW LONG DOES INSTALLATION TAKE?

The HP2000 can be fully installed in as little as 4 hours, with most straightforward installations completed in the 4–5 hour range under favorable conditions (such as a clean frame rail). Certain accessories may require additional time.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY COVERAGE?

A/C Components: 2 years / 2,000 hours limited express warranty
Perkins Engine: 2 years / 2,000 hours limited express warranty
Starters & Alternators: 1 year / 1,000 hours
Electronics: 90 days

Warranty registration must be submitted within 15 days of purchase. Warranty work must be performed by EcoFleet or a certified EcoFleet service center, and installation must be completed by an authorized/trained installer.
Extended Perkins engine warranty plans are available up to 4 years / 6,000 hours. Coverage details are determined by the invoice and registered warranty documentation.
